From the elevator to the room, very dirty. Tub drained very slow, couple of live bugs we saw crawling on bathroom floor, no hot water in shower (barely warm). We were just passing through so we just wanted a place to sleep, it was late so we stayed. We've stayed at a la Quinta before in Florida and it was nice, not here. I did inform front desk about this at checkout. I don't think they really cared.

Got to my room and the Air conditioner/Heater did not work. Took all my stuff back to the lobby and they gave me another room. Got to the door but the keys would not work. Took my stuff back down to the lobby and told them keys did not work and I wanted my Money back. They said I would have to go through Expedia to get a refund. The reprogrammed the keys and tried to open the door them selves. He had a hard time getting the door open. Finally got it open. I’m afraid to leave the room for fear of getting locked out. Air conditioner was running in the room but you can’t turn it off or change the temperature. Had to unplug it to get it turned off. It’s 10.53 at night. Going to bed . Expedia, I want my money back please

It didn’t even have to be this way

Over the course of our one night stay, we experienced the following: 1. The room was hot as there was no AC turned on. 2. There was black hair found on the toilet and in the tub on more than one occasion. Housekeeping was called and a couple showed up with a rag and no cleaning supplies. They turned on the water and spent some time splashing things around and asked me to check. It looked somewhat better. Later, when I went to use the shower, I removed the shower curtain from where it was tied and put it in place when a fistful of hair fell into the tub as it was being moved. 3. A roach proudly walked up to me near the refrigerator. He met his demise. 4. While sitting in the chair next to the bed (right side near the window), I discovered tucked from underneath the mattress, a wrapper from a menstrual pad. I decided to not investigate it further (we slept on top of the covers with our own blankets.) 5. The water in the shower NEVER got hot. 6. We later told the front desk and discovered with them there was a pad that was attached to the mattress. Their response was that it was “nasty guests” and we would receive 25% for our inconvenience. I forgot to mention as we were leaving the hotel, we passed an open room with a wall that was exposed and covered in mold. I would never advise anyone to stay here. They seem to be in the process of “remodeling” but it honestly felt like an ongoing scene from a horror movie. Please book with caution.

Everything was good until about midnight when some folks decided to have a party by the pool which is located in the center of the motel. My room and many others were located facing the pool area. I called the front desk to complain and spoke with a very nice man (all the staff was very nice) but for some unknown reason he couldn't stop these folks (men, women, even a little kid) from smoking, drinking and talking very loudly. It was crazy!! Was he afraid to call the police????

The employees were fantastic. The hotel may have been a showplace at one time but in dire need of upgrading. Bed was comfortable and clean. We were merely traveling through and needed a good night’s rest.

Its a great place with dogs. I like that the room had a back door out to the enclosed patio/pool for easy middle of the night potty breaks. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

We booked 2 rooms and it was absolutely horrendous. We had roaches in the refrigerator and climbing on the walls, coming out of the light fixtures and thermostat on the walls. The room had a dirty rag over the lamp, filthy sheets and no shower curtain. The door didn't even shut properly and you could see inside. It smelt awful as if someone had lived there for months and never showered. Was unable to get a refund because we booked through Expedia. Terrible!
