Malolo Lailai Island Holiday Packages
In this constantly plugged-in era, true escapes might seem more elusive than ever. Unspoiled beaches, blue lagoons and wild-growing orchids might seem like the stuff of fantasy, but a holiday in Malolo Lailai will make you one with nature.
Things to Do in Malolo Lailai
With more than 300 islands making up Fiji, you'll want to explore at least a few of them before settling in. Our Nukubati Beach packages will make island-hopping a breeze. Once you reach your island destination, you can dive right into experiencing the Fiji lifestyle. First stop is the beach, but let's be honest, it's probably your only stop. Malolo Lailai Island holidays are decidedly beach-centred, and so are the activities. Snorkelling is a must in the lagoon, where colourful fish dart around the expansive reefs (it's not called “The Soft Coral Capital of the World” for nothing).
Parasailing and jet skiing are also popular activities, and surfing fans can score an unforgettable tour of Fiji's legendary waves. The marina is the main hub of activity on the island, where you can charter a yacht or a fishing boat, depending on your mood. Do you crave the feeling of wind in the sails? Visit in September during Regatta Week and check out the yacht races.
Shopping, Dining & Nightlife
Malolo Lailai is remote, which is part of what makes it so special. You'll be able to pick up necessities and groceries for picnicking at one of the small supermarkets or gift shops near the beach. Higher-end souvenirs and gifts are concentrated around the hotels and resorts to really live it up, Wotif’s car hire options in Malolo Lailai can whisk you to Port Denarau for some serious shopping. A cluster of boutiques sell gorgeous resort wear, black pearl jewellery and luxury spa items. It's also a handy place to pick up wine and gourmet meats and cheeses, or choose some magazines and steamy beach books from the newsstand.
One of the highlights of Malolo Lalai Island packages is the chance to sample the local foods. You won’t need to fish around for delicious, fresh-caught seafood, like steamed fillets served in banana leaves or flavourful dishes incorporating spicy curries or coconut cream. Plus, the island's fruit is almost magical—we’re talking mangoes, pineapple and bananas right from the tree. Don't be afraid to sample some of the more unfamiliar offerings, like lush pomelos or crisp kavika.
The nightlife in Malolo Lailai is as laid-back as the beach scene, and centres on the island's small bars and cafes. Throw back some world-class rum with the locals and enjoy some international music—sometimes the locals even join in. The bar vibe is mellow, but that will come as no surprise after a few days of beach lounging.
What's Next?
If you think tranquillity is a thing of the past, you need to experience the islands of Fiji. Malolo Lailai's friendly people, tasty food and pristine beaches are so far away from your everyday life that you just might forget your name. That's okay. Wotif can do the thinking for you. Book a trip today and take the stress out of searching for cheap flights and accommodation.

This was such a cool place. It was spread out enough to feel big, but very easy to walk from your bure to the different dining areas and pool. Great stay here for 9 nights. With a whole extended family. The 2bedroon garden bure was perfect, quiet, set back from the ocean pool (kids). Staff were so lovely, just be aware that the rooms only have mugs and cups no other utensils or crockery. Will definitely be back
