The property is lovely and the views are spectacular. The “continental breakfast” leaves much to be desired, so when you think breakfast is included, most order from a paid menu. Also, don’t pay any attention to websites leading you to believe this is an LGBTQ resort. That's in it’s past.

Property has a great view, but is in need of maintenance. Two of the hot tubs were out of service and the remaining one was only partially functional. The pool was not fully filled and missing tiles. The room balcony door didn’t latch, so we weren’t able to lock it. The room was dated and and was poorly finished (messy paint, partially updated shower, small TV). Be aware that the rooms also require walking up and down several flights of stairs to get to with no elevator access. However the staff was helpful in booking local tours.

From the pictures and the feedback we expected much more. We get room with a beautiful view as the picture and the pool look like in the picture. But that’s it, the room is very small, no place to open 2 suitcase (and you need when you travel), no windows or vanta in the bathroom so it’s always wet. The air conditioner is leaking water on the table so not recommend to place your important stuff. Minor issue is when you go to the pool, mostly the don’t have available clean towels, wait for laundry or bring your own. Cleaning service was good.

Charming hotel great for some alone time with your partner. Went during off season so only three other couples staying there and never rant into all of them at the same time. Parking is easy and free and location is very accessible to the National Park and close to dinner locations. Rooms a bit on the outdated side but does not matter when you are only there to sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Roca. Great views and the pool area was lovely. Also was super convenient for the beach and local shops & restaurants. Very sociable venue too. The breakfast options really require upgrading: their continental breakfast was just fruit & toast, with no options. The facilities generally could also do with an upgrade. We would stay here again.

A Great Escape in the Jungle Steps From Everything

The location can't be beat and the service couldn't have been friendlier. Loved the infinity pool and there were three hot tubs on property that also looked amazing. The room needed a few updates (the overhead shower didn't work, but the handheld did, the overhead light didn't work but the bedside lighting and natural sun provided more than enough light and the safe didn't work) but was always spotless everytime we came back from an epic walkabout or beach trip and though I didn't catch the restaurant being open during my stay, other patrons seemed to love it.

Great property and staff. We were offered a free upgrade to the villa due to the length of our stay! What a nice surprise! The only negative was the construction that we were told was going to last two days, lasted the whole 11 days we were there. But, we did understand that it was required and they had to complete it. Would have just liked them to be more honest about the time frame! Other than this, great place and we would stay there again.
