Great place to get some sleep while visiting the Monterey area. Very reasonably priced and friendly from desk folks. The cable box went out in my room and this super nice guy who was manning the front desk attime immediately sprung into actuon and got me a new cablle boc for my room. The problem was foxef withing minutes. I noticed the place was significantly spruced up thee I last stayed here years ago. They conveniently give you a bagged breakfast (banana, tangerine, yogurt and pastry) to go in the mornings. There's a gas station out front, but it was absolutely quiet at night, and it is really convenient to fill up there and hit the road.

For the price, it was very reasonable. Everything (e.g., bedding, bathroom & towels) is a bit old, but it was clean (hardwood floors), and the heater worked fine. It was quiet at night, and they provided a snack pack at checkout.

The motel was decent, appeared recently to have received a facelift. I didn’t realize the hotel was part of the gas station off of Reservation and California. Also, the bagged breakfast left a lot to be desired. Our room key stopped working by 10am the day of checkout although checkout was 11am. Had to address it with an employee. It was comfortable for a night, which is all I wanted for my daughter and I but wouldn’t book again.

The staff are really nice and helpful. We enjoyed getting our complimentary coffee, fruits and yogurt. The room was clean and spacious. We especially liked knowing we had a small connecting patio. Would definitely make a return visit!

We stayed for 3 nights and never had maid service. We had to go each morning to ask for fresh towels. No refresh of coffee, shampoo, toilet paper. It was off season so it wasn't crowded, so it was quiet. The breakfast was a bag you could pick up in the office which consisted of a yogurt, banana, energy bar and a cookie.

Yes, the hotel is next to a gas station, but it was not an issue whatsoever. Staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. The only issue to report was the shower rod in the bathroom was broken on one end, preventing the shower curtain from containing the water to the tub. The issue was reported, however there maintenance person was unavailable that weekend. I would still recommend booking a room at this location.
