My advice is to just book somewhere else. I specifically booked a "signature room" as the pictures for those rooms showed updated rooms. I however was still given a non-updated room at check in that was very outdated and dirty. So, buyer beware; it doesn't matter what you think you're booking, you could still in up in one of these dirty, out-dated rooms.

The parking could be better lit on the cedar looking side. The hotel room itself was ok for cleanliness, the bathroom not cleaned well at all. I would highly suggest someone strip all the old caulking out and replace it professionally! Needs ip dates badly.

I believe we received the "Expedia Room" getting the one room that faced both the highway and the pool so noise was a huge factor during our entire 4 night stay. There is also no elevator to this second floor room and the security door was propped open with a rock. The price was ok but will be trying another hotel next time.

This motel along U.S. 41 at the east side of Marquette, MI has a unique sprawling layout and semi-rustic look, with modern amenities and large open breakfast area. The buildings are a bit dated but are well maintained; the room was clean and had been updated with hard floors and a remodeled bathroom. All in all, a good deal for the area.

Run down and beat up walls. Dirty floor, bad lighting, with only 1 light in the entire bedroom area. Air condtioner did not have a cover just the coils showing. only 2 pillows, I asked for more and got 1. Never going back there

It was clean, quiet, easy to get to and their breakfast and lounging areas were better than many. Our only complaint: We were traveling and got there an hour before check-in — 4pm. They said it was a $25 fee for early check-in — even though their website said 3pm and we went through Expedia which uses their website. The room was ready so they did forego the $25 fee — just this once.

As this is an older building with many additions over time do no expect a 5star motel but it was clean and close to restaurants..Applebees, Texas Roadhouse among others. Breakfast was much better than expected. Every morning there was scrambled eggs, french toast sticks plus the other usual motel offerings. The staff was extremely polite and efficient. Didn't use the pool, hot tub or saune but saw other using them.

Decent but dim

There were only 2 small lamps in the entire room so it was dim. Also no towel racks in the bathroom. The place has been recently remodeled, but I would have filled the room just a bit more with queen beds, a nicer chair, and a bigger TV. The room was quite large with mostly open floor space.

The room was clean and neat. The room only had one chair (no table or second chair) no coffee pot! The stairwell to get to the upper level was in need of a good cleaning! Staff is great! Continental breakfast was good!
