If you are able to stay here DO IT! This place is so much more than a hotel. It is a lovely experience in itself. The location is prime there’s plenty of places within walking distance for food, drink and fun. 10/10 recommend Explore and we will be back again.

Wonderful place to stay, though it was a little odd having a person-less check-in. Two other guests and I had to do some figuring to let ourselves in. Great having snacks and drinks available, not to mention a rooftop cocktail happy hour. Breakfast pasties and wonderful pastries. Shawnee was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. A unique hotel experience.

Our stay was exceptional. From the friendly staff down to the welcome basket in our room. We stayed for New Years Eve and the location is perfect for enjoying downtown Marquette without having to worry about driving. We will absolutely be planning future stays.

Intimate, excellent location, no on-site staff, but they are very responsive via text. Clean, new rooms, excellent furniture. Breakfast and happy hour, snacks and soft drinks available 24-7, they will respond to special requests.

Rooms were really nice (especially the shower!) and the food/drink amenities were great as well. Location is perfect for exploring Marquette, as it’s right in the downtown area and just a couple blocks from the waterfront and Washington Street (the Main Street of downtown). We had a wonderful stay at EXPLORE! The location was excellent, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and sites and both the room and staff were outstanding. There quite a few special touches such as cookies to greet us and wonderful, tasty local coffee grounds for making coffee in the morning!!!
