I recently stayed at Hotel Colonial and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and offers friendly service. The staff was welcoming and always ready to assist with any requests, which made my stay comfortable. The rooms were cozy and well-kept, with comfortable beds and basic necessities. While the hotel doesn’t offer a lot of extra amenities, it’s a great choice for travelers who need a simple, budget-friendly place to stay. The location is also a plus, with easy access to lots of restaurants. If you’re looking for a luxury experience with a range of facilities, this might not be the place for you. However, if you need a clean, quiet, and affordable stay with good service, I’d definitely recommend Hotel Colonial. Would stay again!

Nice place to stay but im very tire

The stay was for only one night the hotel is beutifull is an Historic building it use to be a convent, the only thing that I was a little disapointed was that the air unit every 40 sec or so will make a noise from the condencer motor extractor I think but it was really bad to go to sleep biside that is a vary nice place to stay for no more two days

The hotel is right at the heart of downtown. Many places open late for dinner, coffe and night life. Many restaurants for all budgets. The room is small but functional, A/C is awesome, tv and a comfy bed. All people at the hotel are so very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be coming back!!!

This place is a great find for the price. The most attentive staff ever, seems that they anticipate your needs even before you ask. Heidi, Anibal and Danny were the BEST! Gave me many incredible recommendations and tips. There is a convenient parking right across the hotel, it has limited spaces but it’s super practical if you can find a spot. All the premises are camera surveilled. The room I stayed in was small, single. I have to say it’s very compact but clean. The hotel is located 5-10 min walkable distance from Mayaguez square, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Locals are kind and friendly no matter where you find yourself. I recommend this place.

Perfect For Me

Hotel Colonial is perfect for me when I stop in Mayagüez: clean and tidy, a corner around the Cathedral/plaza, and reasonably priced. The hot shower was perfect to end my busy day and get a good night's rest.
