The location is spectacular with instant access to the beach, pool, kiddie pool, bar and food. It was also instant access to outside eateries and shops. Ubers are readily available for average price or $2-4 American dollars. The hotel is gorgeous!

We stayed as a family of 5 with another family of 5 from Canada. The resort is lovely, smaller, mostly Mexican guests (a good sign in our books) food tasted great and was mostly mexican dishes, the snack bar had N. American fast food and great tacos. Pools were heated, enough loungers, service around the pool was great, we had the same server all week except the last day and then the service was a bit meh. Most staff speak a little bit of english, some none, but management is fluent and happy to help. We have celiacs in the family and no one got sick. The resort is geared more to little kids, they have a fun kiddie pool/structure, the teens who didn't love lounging by the pool were a bit bored, they lived. Staff did games during the day, there was entertainment on friday and saturday. We would stay again.

The Viaggio Resort in Mazatlan is an amazing place with great food, customer service and it's steps away from the beach. The rooms are modern looking and large, with a spacious shower, comfortable beds, and a spacious shower with good water pressure. My child spent most of the day in the pools, and they have activities for kids throughout the day. The all-inclusive package is exactly that, with great food options. The location is conveniently located near a Starbucks, and several restaurants right outside. You can take a walk to sight see, or hop in an Uber from your app to go to the aquarium. I would definitely stay here again. The only downfall is Mazatlan is windy, so bring a jacket cause it gets cool.

Lovely clean property with an amazing Oceanside view . Buffet could have had more options or stations ( kids missed the ice cream and crepe station) The service by the pool ( Jose) and Jorge in the dining was 5 star service !!!! We had a great time and was close enough to walk to the malecon if your fit enough :) was fine for us !

The location was good, but the room was OK! NO shampoo in the shower, NO wash clothes. Could NOT open the door and needed assistance twice. IT WAS SO HARD TO OPEN. THe wrist band was SO TIGHT! I ordered a drink at the ppol and at 8pm the waiiter said I needed to come down and pay. I WAS IN BED. WHY cna't it be charged to the room???? He came up to my room to get paid. No where to get a quick bite in the hotel, like a snack. Coffee pot was GREAT but it leaked everywhere. No TV channels in AMerican. I know not a big deal, but.....

This is a gem of a hotel. From the moment we checked in, staff was friendly, kind, and accommodating. Check in was at 3PM but they let us into our room at 1PM! Security was top notch and on top of everything! I cannot stress how helpful and handy the staff are. Hotel itself is 10/10. Luxurious, spacious, spotless, and welcoming. Pool areas were amazing and the food was equally as good. Without a doubt my next visit to MZT, I will stay here again. For a new hotel, I would have to say that it tops other luxury hotels in the area.

Overall, it is a very nice resort. The rooms are modern and those facing the ocean have amazing views. The only negative is that the rooms could benefit from having a small fridge. Out of the three hotels we booked, it was the only one that didn’t have a fridge. Adding a fridge would make this hotel 10/10. We also liked the activities around the pool and the restaurant offered a menu a la carte or a buffet. The coffee shop was a nice touch for those that enjoy an espresso or americano. One thing we think would be beneficial is offering an English menu in the restaurant. Would we recommend the Viaggio, definitely!
