We hope this email finds you well. I recently stayed at the Catalina Hotel Miami Beach (Room #3315) from March 26th to March 31st for work, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to multiple unresolved issues. First, my colleagues and I were stuck in the elevator, which caused us to be late for work. While the manager offered breakfast as compensation, the next morning, we waited an hour and a half for our food, making us late once again. Then, during a rainstorm, we returned to our room to find that an unopened window had leaked, soaking the floor, our bags, and our clothes. Among our belongings were expensive items, including clothing and electronics, which were exposed to water damage. This caused a major inconvenience, as we had to dry everything out before our flights, adding unnecessary stress to our departure. Upon reporting this to the front desk, the response was dismissive, and we were simply given a card to email the hotel. Given that we paid premium rates for our stay and encountered such significant disruptions, including damage to our personal belongings, we believe a reimbursement is warranted. We hope the hotel will acknowledge these issues and provide fair compensation for the inconvenience and losses. I didn't care for the bathroom. No curtain or anything on the window, no towel hooks, no ventilation. It didn't make sense. It was pretty loud, but that's just Miami Beach. The hallway smells oh so musty. The restaurant is nice.

We booked this room through Expedia very quickly because I had to be on a cruise ship on Monday morning . We checked in Saturday late at night after 10pm, for some reason our door did not lock. We needed the front desk receptionist to escort us every time we wanted to leave the room. What upsets me The most is that they told us that it would be fixed Sunday morning. But when we woke up Sunday and went to the front desk, the new shift said that it was not getting fixed and did not offer us a new room or anything to make up for this inconvenience. The staff didn’t even care. So we had to continue to ask the front to let us in which was the biggest inconvenience since we were barely in Miami 48 hours. We tried to make the best of our time but the bsck and forth was truly annoying and honestly unsecure.

There was no hot water. We showered in the morning, evening and night. Still no hot water. Most outlets did not work otherwise the location and staff was wonderful. I also like all the interaction events held by the hotel. Pool was dirty but the beach was right there so who cares.
