Great location, very dirty and a bit noisy, the reception staff was friendly except the lady on arrival that checked in us on 31/01/25 around 11pm in the evening, she was very rude, unprofessional and slow (30min waiting). Long queues to check out (20min waiting). Our room was on the ground floor facing the patio, so you can never open the curtain (so me day light in the room), hair on the bed sheets upon arrival, no blackout curtains…

Great hotel and we had the main floor so easier for luggage. Room was spacious and upgraded. Very close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, beach, you name it. Toilet kept clogging/slow but I think the plumbing is older. Room 503, very spacious and bathroom had two sinks and two person shower.

OK, hookah bar was a surprise

Nice location. Important to know going in it's urban and a boutique hotel. So parking is fine but another cost and a couple blocks away. We missed having a coffee/tea maker in the morning. There was a quirk that they converted their lobby into a hookah bar, which was not on the hotels.com photos. We were there as a family so that was weird, but we also were not affected by it because we were not out late at night if there was a crowd.

One Night Only

Check- in was easy and the staff were friendly. The hotel is one of the art deco buildings so it's old. Many areas have been renovated but you can still tell its old. Located one block from ocean dr, you can walk to the beach. With that being said, it's in the heart of south beach so it's loud. The bar downtowns is open to the public and plays music like club hours. I'm not sure if it's everyday or just weekend. Water was hot (rain shower head), no toilet papper holder, and no hand towels. Wall heating/ cooling worked fine and beds were comfortable. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in the heart of South Beach and are not too concerned with noise or aesthetics, I definitely recommend.
