Room itself was a little raggedy. It was cold in Miami. Room temperature was set to 90 degrees. Room never got above 54 degrees. Had maintenance, come in just to say that the heat doesn't work.Was offered extra blankets that we didn't receive until hour later which we had to recall again for. Happy to talk to other patrons which had the same problem. Wasn't offered a discounted rate or anything. I will never ever stay at this establishment again. Obviously this establishment doesn't keep up on there maintenance. I have never been to a hotel room where you couldn't adjust the temperature of the room.

Booked a 2 queen bed jr suite, was put in a tiny room with 2 full beds, showed and explained the person who checked me in and was told no, those are queens! room was 501 in the 3rd building past the front desk. Worst shower ever, took 10 min before the water would heat up then to get it to a comfortable temperature was almost impossible to mix since it took so long to travel. A ondemand heater would do wonders and cost pennies. Also put us in a room next to the street on street level so good luck getting any sleep! The staff was nice the location great but the room and the lies about it was unacceptable.

The door locks hardly ever work so be prepared to ask for it to be activated again every time you want to enter your room. The service staff is also unhelpful. They were hardly ever there and when they were they were unhelpful and rude. The roof had three leaks in my room, so I asked front desk about giving me a discount. She went to talk to her manager and never returned. I went again and they spoke about it in Spanish and clearly saying no as they didn’t follow up with me and I had to ask them two more times in that one conversation. Water pressure is low. Bar food is absolutely disgusting. I accidentally left my prescription glasses in the room after check out and they were very rude about it and I still haven’t been able to get them back. What you pay for is the location.

Stayed in room 411... Got to the room and noticed the door was already open. Before I could do anything I had to search the closet and bathroom to ensure I was the only one there. After that I left the room and realized the reason the door was left open since the door card reader did not work. I called the front desk and maintenance and they said they would fix but never came back. I ended up having to take all my stuff with me to dinner since I had no where else to keep my luggage. The front desk person that night and in the morning could care less about the issue. Rather than not renting the room out at all they knew about the issue and still rented it out. Another issue was the room had no hot water. Lastly, charging $30 for a "resort" fee was laughable. I never leave reviews good or bad ones but the smug responses I got from both employees pissed me off.
