The best part of Yotel is definitely the proximity to the port and the metro mover to get around the area. It was also really great that they had a bag check service when we got in at 10am. However, the snotty and rude employee named Nicholas that demanded a tip from us for bringing out bags to the restaurant. Not even taken to the front desk or our room for that matter. Flat out demanded a tip for his tiny bit of work. Just ridiculous! The one strange thing with the room was the bedding. It did not have a fitted sheet on the bed and there were 2 small top sheets sideways on the bed u see the comforter. Do also have to say the operation of the elevator, confusing at first, but is an awesome system once you’re used to it.

The staff were extremely nice and the location was perfect for attending Ultra Music Festival! The parking in advance was rather vague and I had to go back in forth to utilize the parking card provided by the hotel. Part of that was on me not doing enough research. But it would’ve been nice to mention this through Expedia other parking on site or general parking garages, which fortunately I did get the first one by luck but paid more for the first night because of this issue. Also, the resort fees are a bit annoying, but something that is out of the sites control. Overall great stay and the hotel is super nice!

Nice location, clean property, but the beds are electronic hida beds. The most uncomfortable bed I have slept on. And the above ground transit ran by the hotel right outside our room’s window. You could not sleep here more than 1 night

No Coffee!

I am a 71 yo woman who traveled alone to meet up with my daughter in Miami for a cruise together. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, there was no coffee machine in the room. I figured they would have coffee in the lobby in the morning. I went down to the lobby at 6am for coffee. There wasn’t any. I inquired when I could get some. They said the restaurant opened at 7am. They said I could walk down the block (in the dark) to get coffee at 7-eleven, which I did. This hotel costs over $300 per night and for that price they should really provide a free cup of coffee. I’ll never go a Yotel again.
