Exceeded expectations/Many benefits
I rented on behalf of a multi-generational family visiting us. Location was chosen due to proximity of friends/family they were visiting. While I was in the unit I did not actually stay overnight so some of my comments will be limited by that.
First off, the communication leading up to and during the rental was outstanding. Very quick and helpful replies. The guests were met by welcome treats provided by the owner. The unit itself is much nicer than the pictures show. It is very large and open feeling. Several different living areas and nooks. Nicely decorated and comfortable. We used the wonderful sunroom as our main headquarters. The back yard area was nice and welcoming as well.
Two outstanding benefits: 1) Came with two off street parking spots. This is often hard to come by in these listings. Many will say street parking available except that there is very limited hours during the day and restrictions overnight. So this is a big deal if one has a car - even a guest visiting with a car, 2)These older homes are often radiator heat and thus have no central air option, This host has provided 3 portable AC units!!
Kitchen a little small (no complaint, seating available) but no one really cooked there so cannot comment on supplies for that purpose.
Lastly, very detailed descriptions provided, of how things function including turning lights off and on which can be problematic finding, Manuals for everything. Smart TV. Can't go wrong with this rental.
