This is our third multi night stay at Hotel Splendid-Dollmann, and we've enjoyed it even more each time. This boutique Hotel is well maintained, clean, and artistically attractive. Every member of the staff was very polite, efficient, and helpful. The continental breakfast was wonderful, with so many good choices to keep us full and happy until late afternoon. It's very well located to walk downtown in an area of culture, retail, and Munich's wonderful food. Within a 5 minute walk are several restaurants to eat and drink local food and food from around the world. A 20 minute walk to Viktualienmarkt introduces you to a 5 acre fresh market, open daily, selling fresh meats, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, wines, bread, chocolates. It's a great Hotel, with great staff, a great location, and a reasonable price for our last 4 nights in Europe.

The overall experience was great. The staff was super professional, caring and just amazing people who try to go above and beyond for their customers! The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay especially the supervising person Maria ! She was offering us some specialties describing how they were prepared or cooked. She also tried to give some suggestions about cultural life and points of interest. The upsetting part of the stay was horrible garage with super inconvenient entrance, exit, and lack of space and modern features ! Also no safe in the room seemed very obsolete for us

The property was great. Staff was excellent very helpful with any questions I had. It’s in a great location, very walkable to everything especially the little downtown shops. The area was very quiet and safe, which was important to me traveling solo. Would stay here again 10/10.

Old style hotel but well located and very nice staff. Minimal amenities, no air conditioning though staff provided fans and cooling pillows. Lovely outdoor breakfast patio. Walking distance to most attractions including amazing museums and park.

It's a good hotel and welcoming. You get a bottle of water and a book in the room, or at least I did. No access to hot water or anything like that, so if you need a coffee or tea expect to go out. Room had strong smell of paint but was otherwise clean and great for staying.
