Beautiful hotel well located in Munich. The style and ambiance well established. Clever layout and function in rooms. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Restaurant food excellent. Let down only by poor and ineffective airconditioning reported over a couple of days, without resolution .

Perfect place to stay

Louis Hotel was the perfect place to stay for our one night in Munich. We enjoyed every part of our stay and will most definitely be back.

Outdated rooms. Inaccessible areas in the room. Had to close one door to get to another area. Poor lighting. Doors don’t stay open. Staff though nice were not well trained in helping you find places and restaurants. Best part was the location by the market. Would not return here and will not recommend.

During this trip, we stayed at 5 different hotels across 4 different countries. We visited London, Prague, Regensburg, Salzburg, and the Louis Hotel in Munich. This was by far our best hotel of the trip! For starters, every staff member was friendly and professional. Christopher at check in was especially amazing and really started things off right. The room was beautiful, and the amenities were great. We upgraded to a little bit large room with a tub. Just 50 euros extra. Entirely worth it. 10 out of 10, would recommend and will stay here again in our next return to Munich!

This hotel is lovely once you are in but the ground floor entrance area feels filthy particularly in the evening with cigarette butts strewn around and a vagrant wandering around.

The hotel was great – cozy and mid-sized, with a really welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and even helping with our bags. Room service was quick, and the rooms were spotless – even the bathrooms were very clean. The rooms were also bigger than they looked online, which was a nice surprise. The only thing that felt a little off was the bathroom setup – the toilet and main bathroom were in separate areas with a hallway and door in between, which wasn’t the most convenient. Not sure if that’s normal for the area, but it stood out. Other than that, the location was perfect, right in front of the Christmas markets and in a safe part of town. I’d definitely stay here again!
