This staff is amazing I was called by another hotel on arrival and was told there wasn’t the room I booked available and wanted to give me a double bed when I had a king deluxe suit and they were would not call another La Quinta to see if they had what I booked

This hotel charges a $110 security deposit and only refunds $10. Of course they do this at the desk after you already have a non-refundable booking. Clerk had a heavy accent and less than polite about policy. Hot breakfast was more than expected, but still relatively simple. Room wasn't spotless, but fairly clean and comfortable. Bathroom had been updated and everything worked. Thermostat was a little glitchy.

Room was OK. Bed was OK to sleep on. Bathroom was good with good water pressure in the shower. Main hallway carpet was dirty and worn. Breakfast was good. Staff was great. People often smoking at the entrance, so had to pass through their smoke going in/out of the lobby.

The rooms where clean the work out room was small but it had great equipment the only real probelms i had was the property was kinda in the cut and one of the elevators was a little rocky but other then that i had a great stay

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. This was the most absolute worst stay at Myrtle I have had. The woman who works during day shift at the front desk needs a reality check and needs to be fired asap she is very rude has no clue how to be a service worker and made it almost impossible to check in because she says our service dogs are “fake” but yet I have documents stating other wise. I was harassed the entire time about this, they also had a god awful sewer smell through out the entire hotel and they have the audacity to try and blame it on our dogs whom which are groomed every week. They also proceed to send this email listed in the picture, trying to scare me away and saying I’ll get my money back but I know I wouldn’t. They also decided to keep my $100 security deposit and also charge me $49 more for what reason I do not know because we lift the hotel with not a single thing missing or broken with both key cards left on the table. I will never stay here again I would rather sleep in my car then deal with these stupid a$$ people again. DO NOT STAY HERE if you want a peaceful trip. The hot tub didn’t even work correctly just felt like sitting in a Luke warm bath lol.

Recent two night stay

Our room was clean but the pull out couch bed was uncomfortable so I don’t recommend using it. The laundry room and machines were dirty. They charged a $100 security deposit which I thought was odd Overall, the hotel staff were nice and our stay was good.
