A good hotel if you never need to communicate with the staff. They sent a welcome message saying I could message them if I needed anything. The first question I had was how late the airport shuttle ran since I was getting in tclose to midnight. Several hours went by and there was no response. No big deal, I took an Uber, most airport shuttles don’t run that late. As it turned out, they never responded.
The second time I needed to communicate was a bigger deal. I left for the airport and realized that I forgot my tablet. Huge deal in my life as I’m a writer. I considered missing my flight to retrieve it but decided to get home to my kids and trust that there would be a system to retrieve forgotten items. That was a mistake. The phone lines never get you to a human, messages to the Expedia message box stating “We hope you enjoyed your stay,” never get responses. I called Expedia and they told me to fill out a claim through a third party site. Three days later, no response.
The room was clean, I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the too cold air conditioner but that was probably user error. I just can not get over a hotel where you simply can not talk to a human for any reason. They are in the business of hospitality.
