Not Beaches Turks & Caicos at all—the two resorts are vastly different.
Room was extremely cramped for 2 adults + 2 teens; unclear why this configuration is even allowed. No upgrade possible (sold out—not staff fault).
Most staff were excellent (only a couple grumpy). Standouts: manager Javed (exceptional, apologetic, proactive—arranged birthday cake & fixes), manager Danielle (elegant, responsive—quickly handled safety concern), sailing instructor Patrick Daley (decades at resort, knowledgeable, passionate, fun & safe—total contrast to earlier young instructor who was obnoxious, intense & showed no safety awareness).
No Wi-Fi anywhere except lobby, despite resort email promising room Wi-Fi—no warning given. Forced expensive, choppy roaming data ($25/person/day), badly disrupting my son’s daily online SAT classes.
Daughter’s birthday (main trip purpose): nothing arranged despite multiple advance notices. We organised everything; Javed stepped in with apologies, special touches & cake—much appreciated.
Cabana “service” poor—one visit, quoted 50-60 min delivery, so I fetched food myself. Javed again apologetic & helpful.
Jerk restaurant: great food, but server oddly denied us fish (claimed sold out at length), yet later guests got it—no explanation.
Stella’s: mediocre, nothing Italian. Kimonos: outstanding—must-try. Peruvian reportedly great but no reservation available.
Water sports enjoyable, especially sailing with Patrick.
Overall, staff try hard within resort limitations,
