Balcony was awesome especially when the streets were quiet. Loved the historic architecture. Shower stall door knobs were loose. Steps to 2nd floor were a little steep but I managed (hip replaced in March). Staff were nice. Location close to Bourbon St., French Market etc. Good experience overall

The room was clean, the staff took the time to show us several rooms and let us pick the one we wanted. Every single staff member was a superstar, so much so, that We actually looked forward to seeing them at the end of our outings and sharing our experiences! Everyone at the front desk was a joy, always with a genuine smile and lots of helpful suggestions about anything we asked. Absolutely love Perry, working 3-11 shift, he’s a “real one”, lol! Also, the hotel is in a great location, on the prettiest street in the Quarter.

Good location, within walking distance of entire french quarter. Nice employees. The rooms are small but comfortable. Rooms cound use more detailed cleaning...walls dirty, dust behind bed, mold in bathroom.

Took a bit for the hot water to kick in sometimes . Water pressure not great . Staff was amazing and very helpful . Maci went above and beyond to get us a corkscrew to open our wine …!:) Location is perfect !!!

Always great at Hotel Royal

Didn’t have a balcony view but the city skyline was beautiful from the window that I had. It’s always an amazing stay when I stay at Hotel Royal. Love the staff, the atmosphere, and the closeness to everything.
