My only hesitation recommending this hotel is the parking/valet service. Don't trust them with your car. My car ended up with white paint all over the front. They claim it was already like that, which is not true. It's a brand new car that I purchased a couple of months ago. I would know if there's paint on it or any scratch since it's new. They claim it was already on there when I gave my keys to the valet. I didn't happen to take pictures of my car that day or I would have proof against them. it's infuriating as this is a new car.

Went for a sibling trip and the Eliza Jane did not disappoint! This is a beautiful place to stay and the staff was great!!!! Make sure to go have coffee or a drink with Philip at the restaurant bar.

The Eliza Jane occupies a beautiful, historical building, like many hotels in NOLA. It's in a great location 5 minutes from the F.Q. (on foot), near the start of Magazine St., which you can walk for hours. Magazine goes through the Garden District. Hop on hop off bus stop is around the corner on Canal, about a 5 minute walk. The vibe in the lobby area is dark and cavernous, with an outdoor option (still dark). Between the entrance and the elevators and 1st floor rooms thereis a huge, comfortable seating area, with a bar in the middle. The vibe is 20th Century Deco Library but feels a bit gloomy. Our first floor room with two queen beds underwhelmed but was fine. There was no real vibe-- and no snacks or drinks to have or purchase. There are nice C.O. Bigelow products in the bathroom. My bigget complaint was lack of illumination--I could not see to read in bed, and overall the room did not have enough lamps. Our room faced an alley in the back, so that didn't help. Pillows are either very firm and tall or totally soft and collapsed. Staff members were generally very nice if not super friendly. Staff at entrance were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but ends at 10:00 a.m., even on weekend. We booked the hotel because it was one of few offering grab bars in shower and near toilet for someone in our group. Not sure I'd stay here again for the price. I'll likely seek a hotel like Old # 77 in the same Warehouse hood with more interesting rooms.

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Hotel & Restaurant/Bar staff were excellent - attentive, courteous, and kind. Food was great,too. Room was comfortable and clean, streetview location was very quiet. We stayed during a snowstorm (!) and you could tell the staff was dedicated to working together to keep everything running smoothly in a crazy circumstance. Manager Michael and front desk agent Princetta were especially helpful in accommodating us when travel plans changed because of the weather. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Eliza Jane

Loved our Stay at the Eliza Jane. Hotel had a cool vibe and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and hotel had nice amenities. Hotel bar was great and had good food/drinks. We really loved the location of this hotel. Very conveniently located a couple of blocks from the French Quarter and the area around and on Magazine St had a lot of cool spots! Would definitely stay here again!

I tried to reach a GM to share the feedback via direct email, Instagram message, and via the front desk staff but never heard back. Property: amazing location and gorgeous building. The design is so unique. It has so much potential but isn’t well kept. There were massive stains in the hallways and in our room. Room: nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed but again, it had so much potential but wasn’t executed well. In addition to the carpet stains, the towels also had stains. While the room was beautiful, the lighting is so dim you can barely see anything. Service: biggest issue here was the horrible service. All staff lack basic hospitality. They don’t make eye contact, never say “please” or “thank you” or “welcome” etc, and they are discourteous. Our room wasn’t cleaned each day unless we called for it. We tend to call for HSKP when we leave our room each morning with hopes that it will be clean by the time we arrive in the afternoon. However, this never worked out for us though it works at any other hotel we have visited. On the second to last day we asked for housekeeping three times before they came and had to sit outside waiting for them to be done. Same thing on our final night too. We called at 10am and by 2pm the room still wasn’t cleaned. The Front Desk Agent took no responsibility.
