The room was small as compared to what was shown in the picture. The funny part was if I chose to have 2 adults instead of 3 it was the same room with extra charge. Beds were small, one of us had to sleep on the floor with extra blanket and a pillow. The valet parking was expensive and took 1:15 mins instead of so called 45 mins. I advised to bring my car at 10:15 AM and they brought it at 11:30 AM. Barely made it to the airport for my flight.

The room was clean and quiet. Less than a block walk to subway. Easy walk to Times Square. Plenty of nearby dining options to eat in, take out or get delivery. Don’t get the breakfast option instead go to the nearby bagel store. Worth the trip. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with the heat and it was fixed within 30 minutes. Everyone was very polite and acknowledged you if you passed them. Highly recommend.

Excellent location. Friendly team members. Clean. Would recommend this hotel. Room did not cool below 72 on the hot days we were there. Coffee maker was molded, we couldn’t make coffee. Told front desk but wasn’t changed out or cleaned.

The room did not filter the noise from the aisle very well. I think that was because the door gap was very large I think over an inch. Additionally, the area next to the hotel did feel very safe. It looked like a gathering zone for some gangs.

We enjoy staying at this hotel not only because we like the Marriott brand but also because we’re close to Bryant Park. It’s great to sit in the park with a cup of Angelina’s hot chocolate.

The shower had hair in it upon arrival. The boxing around the bed is dated, the bathroom door is ridiculously heavy and the room was too warm despite having the a/c on at 63 degrees. The closet and refrigerator area is so worn out. The bathrooms need vents, the room is too musty after a shower.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute (or less) walk to top NYC landmarks: • Times Square and Broadway theaters • Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building • 5th Avenue shopping • Macy’s, Koreatown, and the Empire State Building Plus, Bryant Park and the subway are right next door—super convenient! The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Huge thanks to Megan (GM), Fernando, Pablo, and Karen for their warm and attentive service, especially when we had concerns. We’ve stayed here several nights over the past two weeks and will definitely be back very soon!

Only good for location, stay wasn't as good

Besides the location being on 42st and proximity to Times Square/metro our stay wasn't as good. The rooms weren't as comfortable to stay in and bathrooms/plumbing etc was old as well. We paid a hefty charge for the 3 nights we were there but the room weren't justifying the price. Rooms weren't cleaned up every day and they dont have onsite crew. When we called they said we can replenish clean towels but the hospitality team isn't available.
