I loved staying at this hotel! They give you a cookie! It was a great location and it was a very walkable area! You could get the subway in any direction you went! The only thing that bothered me was the ice machine on the floor we stayed in was broken and the elevator took forever! If it became full, aside from the 3 minutes you already waited, you had to wait about 3-5 minutes more. Taking the stairs is an option but I was on floor 17 and that’s not ideal.

Our room was clean and stocked. It was good for an NYC hotel. The one thing to note: there are only two elevators. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes for an elevator during our entire trip. A little annoying, but we just made sure left a little early to accommodate for that time. We would stay here again.

The front desk receptionist were wonderful! They were very helpful and willing to let me know about services such as a laundromat being available on the third floor. I did not like that the elevators were hot and took too long but the staff was GREAT!

Our flight was delayed so we had to find a place to stay over night. We chose this holiday and our stay was great! The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. Check in was ways and the restaurant at the hotel made it easy to get a quick bite for dinner. They offer a little later check out so that helped with our delayed flight. We would definitely stay here again.

Doubletree in Manhattan

It is a good value for the money, There needs to be more elevator to use . We find waiting for elevator was the biggest challenge. Otherwise, the cookie welcome, distance to train station, access to everything is walking distance. Guest laundry also needs to be expanded.

The front desk staff was very professional, polite, kind and helpful. I did not like the elevators taking so long. And they are hot. I don't think the air conditioning is in the elevators at all. The distance to subways, and eatery places was very close that's definitely a plus!

Not a bad basic room. Great if you are working in the financial district or exploring that area as a tourist. Clean room. Decent views. The bad? Sloooooow crowded and hot elevators. I waited 20 minutes to get downstairs when I was checking out. Honestly the horrible elevator is enough for me to find a different hotel in the area next time.
