Only stayed overnight as decided to drive back gomw and not fly to Pittsburgh . Was very impressed by the early and complete Breakfast. Everything you could ask for to start your day! Staff very helpful with us finding ride to Newark for rental car. Called and arranged for us.

Definitely a 3 star hotel. I do want to mention the staff was very friendly and helpful. You can also tell they are trying their best (cleaning etc.) but unfortunately the hotel is not in good condition. Our room had a persistent foul smell, mild enough to sleep through but noticeable. There were also several bugs in our room, likely attracted by the smell... The room was also very small. The hotel is in a very convenient location but we ran into several homeless people that were high and/or drunk out of their minds on several occasions right outside the hotel. The street is somewhat dark, so maybe that’s why we saw more of that there? Not the worst hotel experience but would not want to stay there again unless I had to.

Great location and modern room

Clean room, with modern, bright LED lighting (can turn off some to get a nice low light for night time). Coffee machines in the lobby are new and a nice touch. Clean room and functional.

The hotel.is close to alot of.places in newyork that we wanted to visit. Staff were very polite amd helpful. The only thing we did not like was the homeless people that came at night and slept on the seating that is outside the enteance amd meant for guests. This made us feel unsafe. We were approached by these people and aaked for cigarettes and change. There was a security guard present on our first night but he stayed inside the main entrance area and left the building at around 4 am. I struggle to sleep and came down for some air just before he left. The homeless persons stayed until well after 8 am and returned each night to the seating area. For this reason I wouldnt book another stay if i came back to newyork.
