I was surprised at my below average stay in Times Square at the Hyatt. Upon check in the employee was clearly disgruntled and overworked. He complained to me and my family before asking us to wait almost 30 min to check due to housekeeping being behind. One of two elevators was out of service which caused us to experience considerable wait times to get to and from our room. The final straw was a 45 minute wait time for additional wash clothes because there were only two in the room (max capacity was 4 adults). Overall I am disappointed this was our experience. I brought my young cousin with me to celebrate her graduation and birthday for the first time in NYC. I will need to do considerable research before I ever stay at this location in the future.

You get what you pay for. Great for a few nights since you’re probably not going to be spending much time in the hotel. Hotel gyms aren’t known for being particularly well stocked but this was the sparsest I’ve ever seen. Took a while for a room to open up but this is pretty much standard for most hotels in Manhattan
