Location, views, nice pubs were great. Felt safe too. What was a real surprise was how small the room was, no closet, and the bathroom was part of the sleeping area. Wonder what the interiors architect was thinking. Also the lighting contols were wonky.

Great location, some hiccups

My hotel stay started off pretty good. Arrived and checked in with no issue and placed my card down for incidental charges (resort fee etc). I chose the hotel for it's location in proximity to where my conference was so it was perfect. Room was VERY small but very clean and well appointed. My issue was that the television did not work. There were no channels and nothing was on the television.. just screen saver. Upon calling the next night someone attempted to correct the issue, but they had no understanding of how to program my television because it was being phased out. When someone came, they tried some trouble shooting and it worked for about 30 seconds after they left then it went blank again. I was not asked if I wanted to move rooms with a working television and that was kind of disheartening. And it took a very long time for someone to come when I did call. I had to even cancel the call a couple of times because it was taking so long. I hope they resolve the tv issue going forward or at least make sure they staff is well versed in how to troubleshoot.

Should be clear that’s it’s a micro hotel! The room size is ridiculously small. Will never stay in a moxy again! Rooms lack the bare minimum of comfort features- no closet, no drawers, no refrigerator, no drinking glasses. The toilet is in a cloudy glass box and the smallest sounds can be heard across the room. No place for 2 guests to share. And the staff has this attitude that they are so cool and edgy and the guests are lucky they can stay there. Get real! And worst of all is that they charge the same as hotels with decent room sizes and amenities.

I was generally pleased with the hotel but two areas need work. In my room, the shower door was difficult to close. The shower also drained a bit into the separate toilet area. Second, the elevator was often crowded. It seemed like 1 shaft was having problems. But it regularly took quite long. That said, the rooms were tidy, fairly updated, and had great views.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist in any way they could. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this place and would go out of my way to stay here again.

Not Worth it

The rooms are tiny- stayed in a few hotels in NYC and these by far were the smallest. Reception isn’t marked/labeled, and no treating when entered. It’s just not worth the price. The lounge/bar upstairs is however worth a visit. Gorgeous views.

Very very small room with odd layout.

Room is literally a bed and a toilet/ shower with pocket doors that overlap each other. No closet just hooks along a wall. Suitcases….. nowhere to put them other than the floor next to the window which then makes it so you can’t walk on that side of the bed. Shower leaks onto vinyl flooring which is bubbled as a result. You are literally only going to be in this room to sleep as there is nowhere to relax. Our daughter visited us and commented about our prison cell of a room. The 2nd floor bar is nice as is the rooftop bar.
