My boyfriend and I stayed here because we were on a budget and visiting NYC during one of the most expensive times of the year—right before Christmas. Take this as your sign to spend the extra money and stay literally anywhere else. We should’ve known it was a bad idea the moment we were dropped off from the airport and turned onto a street that felt extremely unsafe. The hotel is in a very sketchy area, with visible signs of crime, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When we arrived to check in, the front desk attendant was on the phone giggling with her friend and didn’t acknowledge us at all until I finally had to ask, “Sorry, is this where we’re supposed to check in?” That pretty much set the tone. Somehow it got worse. Our room number was written on the door with a literal Sharpie, our room was not cleaned once during our entire four-day stay, and it took about 15 minutes for the hot water to work in the shower every time. No housekeeping, no towel refresh—nothing. Unless you’re absolutely desperate and have no other option, do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process set the tone. The front desk staff member was wearing large headphones, focused on her phone, and ignored guests waiting at the desk for several minutes. When we finally received our room keys, they didn’t work. Instead of resolving the issue herself, she sent another staff member to swap one of the keys. Later, when we asked for breakfast recommendations nearby, her response was simply: “Google has recommendations.” This lack of hospitality was shocking. To make matters worse, on our first night, we were woken up at 1 a.m. by hotel staff loudly arguing with a guest right outside our door because of a payment issue. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and disruptive environment made our stay unpleasant from start to finish.

We stayed 7 days the room was never been clean evem that it waa requested, the front desk were not there, Besides the AC was set to 85 too hot, also very noise!! Worst hotel ever it should be remove from expedia list. Before I forget they charged me 90 dlls more informing it was something.from expedia, but charge said property, need to clarify with expedia

I wrote that I needed a crib for our 10 month old….. and this hotel doesn’t offer crib services of any kind.. we’ve been travelling for several hours and have never been to NYC before…. Check in and don’t have anywhere for our baby to sleep….. very exhausted, uncomfortable and very upset.

An additional fee to check in early, when the room is available is just greedy. You had approximately 20 people sitting in the lobby waiting hours for rooms that you said were ready and available. The shower could also be improved. The hot water took a long time to get warm-not hot, which is especially problematic during winter in New York.

This hotel is super dirty, they do not clean the rooms unless you ask them too, The pillows and bed sheets have blood stains, the workers are very rude they basically ignore you, they do not have any water to drink not even vending machines, the ac hardly works, and the space in the rooms is very limited. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
