During the time I'm visiting, the hotel is under renovation, which is quite inconvenient. Check-in is located on the lower level, and the complimentary water is on the first floor. Why not just put it in the room? But I received $35 daily credit for food & drink, which is good.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Times Square. The location is definitely a plus, with Times Square and Central Park just a short walk away. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations at the reception area, which created some challenges during my stay. Access to the rooms requires walking around the hotel, and the high volume of guest traffic made it feel congested at times. I also felt there were some safety risks due to the ongoing construction. Once the renovations are completed, I believe the experience will improve, but at the moment it’s something to keep in mind when booking

Incredible location but my goodness this hotel was a nightmare. It’s under construction so there’s very few amenities and everything feels chaotic. There was very limited options for food and beverage with really long lines. The hotel is not able to operate while under construction fully. There was vomit in the elevator. I could go on. Don’t stay at this hotel until the construction is over.

Staff attitude at the front desk with the rare exception of a few was appalling to include witnessing an elderly couple given the wrong key 3 times and the 3rd time to an occupied room at 1am!!! When the elderly lady expressed her frustration in a calm manner the man yelled so loud at her for a long while that we were so shocked and afraid to say anything while at the property. Not to mention housekeeping coming into one of our rooms when the do not disturb sign was up claiming she thought we had checked out (with a room full of luggage) AND MAJOR construction going on so amenities weren’t easily accessible, and never told that this would be happening OR signs of apology as things happen. Worst BONVOY/hotel experience to date. We are in the process of reporting these incidents to the proper channels. Save yourself the headache as there were so many unhappy guests. Too bad since BONVOY is an amazing brand.

My room was very dated and dusty. The two chairs were just as old and uncomfortable. The pillows were worn out. Bathroom was gross. Wall paper was peeling off in the bathroom. Brown areas in shower’s grout lines. However, the location was great for the real NYC feel. I appreciated the life outside of the room.

The lobby of the hotel was being renovated so there were construction sites. The location is convenient. The rooms are dated. Elevators can be packed and waiting time can be long. Not worth the price that I paid.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The place is filthy, run-down, and under disruptive renovations (which we weren’t warned about). The main entrance and lobby eere under construction, which meant we had to enter the hotel through the side door. My room had a sticky stain on the carpet, a leaking toilet and sink, dirty bedding, scratched walls, and even an elevator held together with tape. The café was no better—overflowing rubbish bins and a chaotic coffee service that left us waiting 45 minutes, only to be told to order at the opposite end with no signs. The next day they swapped it again, causing more confusion. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Poorly managed, dirty, and misleading. Avoid at all costs.

Location was great and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately we had a sink that kept leaking and flooding our bathroom floor. They attempted to fix it multiple times but it continued to leak. The construction in the lobby made the check-in process a little bit of a mess, but the staff was great and doing their best.

Elaborate renovations were not disclosed when we booked, and they caused a ton of chaos and uncertainty regarding how to get around the hotel. Which exits, entrances and elevators we could use seemed to change multiple times a day and the signage was not reflecting the changes. The staff was totally indifferent to the negative impact this was having on the guest experience and did not engage or try to improve/help with foot traffic and utter chaos especially when we had to use the service elevators which were slow at best. It took forever to check in, and the woman who served me was actually watching a daytime soap opera on her phone with her earbuds in her ear while she served me. We could not in any way make use of the ‘per day credit’ that we were forced to pay for (against both of the rooms we booked) because the line ups and the sheer disorganized state of the property and facilities made it beyond undesirable and in some cases literally impossible to even get a coffee in the morning. The cleaning staff were super friendly and helpful, but aside from that there wasn’t a single positive thing about this stay - never again! I spent countless hours comparing hotels before making this booking and upon seeing them all in person I absolutely know I should have gone with any other one of them in that trade area, and it would have been better. Not happy!!!!

Love the location and very helpful staff. Bathroom was way too tight. The bathroom door bottom showed its age. Also, there was too much space around the door to the room which carried private conversations into the hallways.
