Great location

A great hotel if you want to be right in the middle of the action, close to Central Park, Times Square and 5&6th ave. Free wifi should be included as should the use of the fitness room, but you have to pay for that. When you are on holiday in New York you don't spend much time in your room anyway but the room was comfortable.

great location between central park & times square

Pros: The location was great. 6 blocks to central park or 11 blocks to times square and 2 blocks to fifth avenue. Very central location for a family.
Cons: The carpets in the room need a deep clean.
Location: very close to Rockefeller Centre, Fifth Avenue for shopping, Central park for walking, Famous Originial Rays Pizza just two shops up, luggage shops.
We were able to get early access and late check out with our room which we were grateful for to have that extra time to pack for our plane without any charges. We stayed in room 2404 for about 6 nights and the gentlemen at the desk near our elevators always greeted us with a warm welcome whenever we went to our room which made a big difference to our stay and made us feel welcome. I have to say the concierge that looked after our suitcases while we waited for our room to be ready, could have been more friendlier , he was cranky. The room was tidy and clean and we had cleaners everyday to make our beds which made our stay more comfortable. Having our two girls with us, it was a nice hotel to stay at even though there were a lot of business travellers, we felt comfortable.
