There was a check-in line that was at least 50 people deep from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Given the known holiday traffic, it was inexcusable to not have a larger staff prepared for the check-in counters. The room was old and the bathroom shower was very old and dirty. The hotel had chairs blocking random doors and other things poorly trying to mask out of service areas and areas that needed to be renovated. We had a $35 daily fee assessed for food/drink on the property and the “Starbucks” was no more than 3 containers of coffee and a tray of prepackaged Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches to choose from. The worst part was having 2 adjoining rooms and paper thin walls. One of the rooms seems to have had their bathroom on the other side of the adjoining door where we could hear everything going on in that room at 5 am. On the other adjoining door, it was people making noise at 2 am. This was absolutely the most overpriced and aging hotel that has no business operating in its current state and condition.

The entire hotel is a bit outdated, however the property is in a prime location. My room did not have wash clothes and I was told by housekeeping that there were none available in the hotel. NOT, good. Entire staff was very pleasant.

Room was very nice. Clean for the most part with lots of extra rags and towels. Only one bar of soap to share between hand washing and body wash. Beds were very comfortable. Can’t give it 5 stars due to elevator situation. If you are higher than the first 27 floors be prepared to wait 20+ minutes or climb stairs as only a couple elevators service the higher floors, and of those, only 1 elevator ever actually picks you up. It got so bad one evening that they started taking people into the maintenance rooms to take the service elevators which also took 30+ minutes. We were on floor 31 so we would take the working elevators up to 27 then climb the 4 up and down each time. Still overall very good stay. Great location to absolutely everything and the subway entrance being right at the foot of the hotel was extremely beneficial.

The room was okay except it smelled like feet and the tried to cover it up with perfume instead of cleaning it. I tried to call customer service to get more coffee cups and coffee and was on hold for over 30 minutes and still talked to no one. Also we’re having issues with charges to our room that we’re trying to resolve.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our stay at the Sheraton from 22 to 29 December. Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect the quality, service, or standards traditionally associated with the Sheraton brand. In fact, throughout our stay, the expected Sheraton level of hospitality was noticeably absent. The lobby area was extremely disappointing, particularly given the Christmas holiday period. There was no festive atmosphere or Christmas spirit, which was surprising and disappointing for a stay during such an important season. Additionally, the lobby and common areas appeared dirty and poorly maintained, creating a negative first impression. The check-in process involved excessively long lines, with unacceptable waiting times. The same situation occurred repeatedly at breakfast, where long queues significantly impacted what should have been a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The guest rooms are clearly in need of renovation. Their condition and overall appearance fell short of what one expects from a Sheraton property. Furthermore, calls to the front desk were frequently not answered, adding to the frustration. I would like to acknowledge one positive aspect: the housekeeping staff provided very good cleaning service, and their efforts were appreciated. Overall, this stay fell well below expectations. Our room was so clean and comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful- we ate at the Hudson Market and the night bar. We loved the location to Rockefeller Center and Times Square. The elevators were a bit congested and it took some time to get up and down to our room during busy times. But we would stay there again!

I've used Expedia for a couple of decades now and I feel i need to speak up about this simple overnight stay in a city I know very well. 1. We were given a $35 meal voucher for the onsite restaurant. Only we could never use it bc they were so understaffed making it more than difficult for anyone to be served let alone find a seat. People werent being moved in and out! 2. Elevators weren't working well. Left in plenty of time to walk to a show but arrived 2 mins to bc of the elevator situation. No stairs for guests to use? 3. The check baggage line always had 20 or so guests waiting to check a bag. We didnt even try. We had to bring our luggage to the show! R U kidding me? 4. Parking--what a mess. Guys working hard, believe me. But the wait was intense! The price you, Expedia, showed us online was $85 for our 1 day stay. You know how much they charged me? $173! Holy crap!!!! For 24 hours? They told me it was bc I had an oversized car. I did? Its a 4cly Toyota Rav 4. Same size as a Camry.where waa this written in my paperwork? Why wasnt I told? $644 for one night stay plus $173 to park a car still for 24hrs on property? Worse than Disney World, Expedia! I want restitution! I am a fabulously consistent member. I dont deserve this treatment!

There were major issues with the elevators during our entire stay. It was worse at check in time every day. There are not enough elevators! One day, it took an hour for me to get to my room on the 40th floor. My husband climbed the stairs. We always had to add extra travel time in case the elevators caused a delay. This caused very much frustration with all of the guests, especially since we pay extra for a high floor! The market and restaurant/bar were always overcrowded. The staff always seemed overwhelmed. It definitely seemed that the hotel is not equipped for the amount of guests in the hotel! As for positives, the room was clean and housekeeping staff were very accommodating. Great location and has a subway station outside the hotel.

After prepaying for a 2 night stay , we stand in line for 45 min , get to the check in desk and they say they have no reservation , after checking with manager I find out they are sending us to another hotel due to the hotel being overbooked. The manager said that they do this all the time , So my wife and my small kids have to walk in a literal Blizzard to the Millennium hotel 10 blocks where they put the overbooked guests , they gave no apologies no credits just bad attitude, when I got to the Millennium hotel they book only for one night so we have to go back to the Sheriton the next day back though the snow… this place is dirty and old , with the worst customer service in the city
