Good: Very clean property with easy parking. Bad: paid for breakfast buffet in the morning and they gave us a buffet card. Girlfriend wanted to show it to the staff before she got her plate but they were ignored her. However, when I went to get breakfast from the buffet they asked me for a buffet card. I wonder why...

Great stay

Location was great for us - our son and his fiancee live in Long Island City and it was a lovely 20 min walk to their place - Box House is right by the bridge with easy stair access. It was also not a long walk to Williamsburg. Service was great. Room was spacious. All in all great. The only issue is that there are just 2 elevators and if there’s a large event on the rooftop it can get a bit jammed. But the hotel staff can help manage through that if it happens.

A quiet, boutique hotel in a family friendly part of Brooklyn. The hotel is in very good condition, very clean and the front desk staff is very courteous. I was here for a short weekend stay, and was very satisfied. It is in walking distance of major thoroughfare with lots of restaurants and local businesses. It is not a chain hotel, but ideal for a quick getaway, especially since you can walk over to Queens over the Pulaski bridge in about 15 to 20 mins.
