Great location. But AC was anemic, fussy shower temp controls , and cramped elevators were negatives. Rooms were nice , very clean and comfortable. But they really need to fix AC in whole hotel!!

Hotel feels like it needs an upgrade everywhere. One elevator was broken. After waiting 15 minutes, we finally took the stairs and ran into lots of other guests who were forced to do the same. Not what you expect for a hotel of this caliber.

I absolutely loved the location of the Warwick Hotel! It was so easy for us to stroll both uptown and downtown. The staff was wonderfully helpful and attentive, really going out of their way to make our stay feel extra special.

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Warwick. We book the double with a city view, but it wasn't much of a view with all the nearby high rises. Our room was right across from the elevator so we were a little weary of the noise from it, but the worry was diminished on the first night as the room was comfortable and surprisingly very quiet even with the elevator. The only drawback was that only two of the elevators were working, so it took a lot of waiting to use it, however, we were allowed to use the service elevators which were faster. The check in and checking out process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, we'd definitely stay here again.

About the equivalent of a $130/night hotel elsewhere. Small and crowded for the price. No pool, tho' we expected that. Cheap Starbucks coffee. No complimentary breakfast: dining room runs $30 for 2 fried eggs or $17 for a bowl of oatmeal and up. Small TV, no guide: you scroll through every channel to find something to watch. Long waits for the elevator: If you're on one of the lower floors you’re better off getting on when it’s going up and waiting for it to go down again, as it’s always filled to capacity by the time it gets down to the 15th floor. Room was clean, but there were a couple of tiny bloodstains on the sheet. No freezer, just a drink refrigerator. No microwave. If you want a view be sure to request a room on the front of the building. Beware: the price quoted on Hotels.com does not include a $33/night resort fee. A large icon states “What you see is what you pay!” but that's NOT true. The confirmation email mentions the resort fee, but don’t be fooled by the line “We have included all charges provided to us by the property,” which does NOT mean that you already the resort fee. What it does have is location. Close to Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, Carnegie Hall, MoMA, lots of restaurants, delis, &c. North/south subway stations are inconvenient but within walking distance. If you want an acceptable hotel in a good midtown location, it’s not a bad option. I think if we’d researched better we might have found a better hotel in our actual price range, though.
