No fridge or water or anything to eat or drink in room (so if you get there late you are screwed) so wouldn’t stay more than one night. The room was very clean and had a very nice upscale bathroom. The bedding was horrible and came off all night because they didn’t have a fitted sheet. It was like a small top sheet and the mattress keep being exposed which made me feel ick. Really weird to ruin a sleep experience with bad bedding after spending $$$$ on upscale bathroom. Maybe it was a mistake. Great location with a stumptown cafe around the corner. Would stay again for one night despite all that. Staff were great and love the neighborhood! Cafe Cluny nearby was wonderful for breakfast.

Great location and staff. However the room was tiny and the view was a brick wall- there was no light coming in at all, pitch black .. I wouldn’t have booked this and paid this price if I knew this beforehand.

The rooms are a bit small and spartan but well maintained. The location is unbeatable and the staff is very friendly. It is in the best possible location if you plan to enjoy the Village’s many great bars, jazz and comedy clubs, and restaurants. You can walk to the subway in less than 2 minutes (maybe 80-90 seconds).

Really wanted to love this place. Rooms are very small. The pictures online are mostly from the restaurant in the basement. The woman who checked us in was very rude, and I am quite sure gave us a room with a view of the wall next door. Though people were very nice after that, it left a poor taste. I will say the hotel is very convenient to the Village.

Essential amenities were provided at the hotel. As an environmentalist who tries to minimize waste, I was satisfied. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was nice. The only thing I think could be improved is adding a trash can in the room—there was only one in the bathroom. Thanks

Hotel is well located for what i was doing and was close to subway. But more importantly, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower worked great, all the things you hope for in a hotel so that it is not one more thing on your list to worry about. I would definitely stay here again and that is my highest complement to a property.

Washington Square Hotel was the perfect spot to pick for a stay in the city. It has the perfect location. It had easy access to the subway. Shopping, dining and drinking locations were within a short 1-3 minute walk. The Square is right across the street and was a great place to hang out with coffee or lunch and just take in the city. The area felt incredibly safe and was so much quieter than other areas I visited. The Hotel itself is on the older side, but it felt modern and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 location in my book.
