Last minute booking . Accommodation was perfect for a one night stay while in town. Wanted just a place to lay the head and not the Ritz Carlton. It’s a pub room , exactly what I expected. Ladies at the bar were helpful on my arrival.

People booking need to know this really is an old-fashioned pub, with nothing in the room but a bed. Saturday night the loud music was also problematic until 11.30 p.m.

Overall it was fine but there are no staff overnight and their fire alarm went off at 5am. There was no one to deactivate it so it went for a full 20 minutes before it switched off automatically.
