I stayed here in November, the room was small but comfortable, although the coffee area could have been somewhere else in the room and not in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean, water pressure was good and had enough toiletries and towels. The heater in the room was not working good at all!!! It kept blowing cold air and would intermitently blow hot. It was very uncomfortable. There is no microwave in the room so it was hazardous to walk back and forth from the room to the lobby to ask to use the microwave, then go to the breakfast area to heat food and then walk with that hot food back to the room, so that was very hazardous, I wish there was a microwave in the room. The lack of a sauna was very disappoininh but I did know not to expect one going in. Their breakfast was not good at all, no fruits, limited yogurt and the only vegetarian option was eggs and bread and if you don't eat egg, you can only eat bread and cereal or waffles. It was veryyyy disappointing breakfast and the coffee was not good at all and no fresh fruit or fresh juice. It was a very unmemorable breakfast. So if you are paying for breakfast included, don't waste your money. All in all the price I paid because I got a discount, it was worth that money but if you are paying 150cad a night, don't do it. Especially because it's a bit of a walking distance during the winter to anything good to see and do. The staff was accommodating and helpful so I would give them that and the bed was very comfortable.

The first non-smoking room we were given smelled horribly of smoke. Luckily they were able to move us to a different room of same size. But could smell smoke in the hallway. Having to go outside for breakfast is inconvenient. Breakfast room was small for size of hotel, and crowded. Probably because breakfast hours were short.

The room said it is river view, but it is 2 streets down, only can see a corner of the river between buildings.

The room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. The staff was very helpful. The only downside was that our room on the 2nd floor was too close to the lobby. There were loud voices until after 1:00 a.m. We believe it may have been from guests but we are not sure.
