Convenient but tired…

Hotel was once beautifully redecorated. It’s tired. Doors wouldn’t even open for my elderly parents due to sticking paint from poor paint prep. Staff was awesome but space as tired and dirty. Linens were stained/soiled. On the upside close to the American Falls and Rainbow Bridge.

The room itself was the size of a shoebox!! No telephone was in our room and contradiction from different staff as to WHY. No cleaning, and garbage/recycle removal and bed changes DURING your stay, unless you complain, as their excuse was they need their staff to prioritize on NEW COMERS AND THOSE LEAVING, but during the stay it was like pulling teeth. Got stuck in the elevator one time, panicked after pushing several buttons and no concierge in their lobby. A flood of contradictions with other issues. WILL NEVER GO TO THAT HOTEL AGAIN!!!

I'm still owed money.

I had a problem at check-in. An unexpected $300.00 deposit was requested. Then when we checked out the deposit was not returned. Even now the $165.25 ($300.00 - $124.75 for breakfast) hasn't been credited to my account. The cost for the rooms doesn't match the amount expressed in the reservation. The reservation quote is $569.00 but the amount actually charged is 679.62 before taxes. Also, please explain the $50.00 "destination fee"?

Booked a “Royal Room” for mine and my wife’s anniversary. I didn’t realize Royal meant Cinderella’s shoe closet. Smallest room I have been in. The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is a short walk away from the falls. The hotel is on the older side and while I enjoyed the history of the hotel, it could’ve been cleaner and our room was a little musty. Don’t miss the $25/per day resort fee and $45/day parking.

Room was poorly renovated. The paint job is beyond laughable. Bathroom lay out terrible. Small room for "deluxe" king suite. Barely a falls view (window placement) not worth the $585 price of admission. Breakfast over priced. The 10$ food credit provided at check in isnt vaild when paying for meal? Confusing.
