What a beautiful property full of old world charm. Very comfortable accommodation, delicious home cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. Hosts were lovely & left us to it. Thank you Karen and John. Perfect B&B stay. Highly recommended.

The owner, who was very nice, has converted her home into a B&B. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelmingly strong smell of mothballs (?) our allergies were in high gear by the time we left.

A real home from home in a lovely historic farmhouse set in its own beautiful grounds. Karen was a fantastic host very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good. All in all a great stay.

A Peaceful Oasis

The Butterfly Farm is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the cattle farms of the area. Green and serene, with lots of privacy. Karen is a wonderful hostess, she has lots of great information on things to see in the area and she is ready with anything you might possibly need. If you are looking for a retreat away from the tourist traffic of the Great Ocean Road while still being connected to good Wi-Fi and all the amenities, this is the place to stay.

Marvellous

We had a wonderful couple of days staying at the beautiful peaceful home of John and Karen . As hosts they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Great company. The house is full of character , and a short drive to some great beaches. The choices for breakfast were second to none, nothing was too much trouble. Would I recommend a stay here? Absolutely!

Great quiet place to stay

Fantastic stay in a lovely quiet location (watching the blue wrens hop around the grounds was one of my favourite things) Very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Hosts, Karen and John, very friendly and gave great local tips/knowledge. Throughly recommend and would stay again if we are back in Oz.

While this is an older home and reminded me of my grandfather's house, Karen went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy. The internet worked superbly and allowed us to catch up on things. Breakfast was incredible!
