Worth a stay

The hotel common areas are great, the gym was well equipped, comfy beds, good shower, and the breakfast was really good. Nice grounds as well - the only downside was decor of the rooms, while absolutely comfortable and well equipped, the style feels slightly dated.

Great place.

We chose it because of its proximity to an appointment we had. Lovely setting. Easy access and lots of parking. The spa is beautiful and I loved the selection available. The restaurant and bar is well laid out with really good food. The staff were friendly and helpful. I hope to return.

We have stayed at the Parsonage many times always a delight. On this occasion we were disappointed with the menu choices at the Fat Abbot restaurant, not up to their usual standard

Nice but

the place is nice, staff are friendly, the room we were in was in need of refurbishment, it had that old smell to it. Pool and spa was nice, loved how warm the pool was. Didn't think much to the pub / food, just glad i didn't pay the extra for the meal package as that would have been a real disappointment. The bed was uncomfortable so neither my partner or I had a good sleep.
