A lot of hotel without the expensive price tag

The Orchard Hotel is a really nice place. It was peaceful and calm and set in a lovely area. There were rabbits in the gardens and a deer was spotted in the grounds. The hotel was very relaxing, with a lot of seating and a bar in the middle. The restaurant was quiet on the day we had dinner and the food was very nice. The room was spacious with a huge bed. There was plenty of light coming in through the massive windows and good lighting inside. The bathroom lighting was ok but not bright enough to do makeup - I was getting ready to attend a wedding. The TV channels available was quite disappointing. Apart from that, a very good find. I had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights but had to extend the stay for 2 rooms by one more night - very easily done on the hotels.com app. The only thing I would say is that the hotel did try and take the payment in the morning before we had arrived. I didn't realise we could have used the gym and pool so missed the opportunity

Was only there briefly as an overnight stop for university business so difficult to fully comment but everything totally fine. Only issue is the location pointed by Expedia, which was located by the Tennis Centre when in fact in reality is on the University main campus (was actually more convenient for my business but less so for the walk from Beeston station)

A busy weekend for The Orchard with lots of events, staff were so friendly and very helpful. Food good. Room was adequate, quiet at night importantly - funny odour in the room may have been air con but that’s being ultra picky. Lobby and lounge areas perfect for meeting friends and family. Would recommend.
