So far, the worst place I have had ever stayed cleanliness, lot's of hairs on the beds, bathroom so disgusting, my wife and kids didn't want to stay with me the when to my cousin's apartment to sleep on the floor and not sleep in the hotel room. I didn't wanna take a shower in that shower ether.

The room was ok. It was a nonsmoking room that smelled like smoke. The lobby area to walk to to go up stairs to the hallway to our room is needing renovation and cleaning. Upon arrival at our door - there was a gifted condom waiting at the entrance. Just so you know. But the man who was working at front desk when we arrived and the woman when we left were very kind.

Bathroom needs upgrade especially the shower and toilet. Have to be flushing the toilet 2-4 times even if you just take a pee. Needs lots of improvement and get some new bed those beds will give you back pain. They hard.

ABSOLUTELY THE DIRTIEST/WORST HOTEL we've ever stayed in! I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Reception, stairwell, hallway, & room reeked. And the night reception guy was incredibly rude. We checked in around 4 p.m. & hurriedly left our luggage in the room w/o examining it because we needed to make it to dinner & our timed-ticket tours. We finally got back to the room after midnight and found literal PILES of dust all over the sticky floor and lots of pubic hair in the shower! Walls & ceilings were badly stained. Toilet didn't flush properly. Sink faucet leaked onto the counter. TV picture was full of jumpy lines. Mattresses were hard. Pillows were very thin & extremely lumpy. Worst of all, the sheets HADN'T BEEN CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS GUESTS—so gross! They were full of hair, dust, & dirt streaks (also holes & old stains). Eww! When I went to reception about the dirty sheets, the rude man on duty didn't apologize for the nasty room AND gave me serious attitude about requesting clean sheets, as if it were *my* fault they hadn't been changed. Unreal! (And I didn't even ask for *staff* to put clean sheets on our beds; I asked him for 2 full sets of sheets for us to change the beds ourselves.) He brought 4 top sheets—no fitted sheets—and 0 pillowcases. Then, he gave me MORE attitude when I asked him to go back for pillowcases that he should've brought me the first time. I don't have one good thing to say about the Tappan Zee Hotel. It's disgusting. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Cons: thin walls, could hear every word of the next room's conversation. Every word. At 5:30am. Wasn't exactly what I wanted. Didn't ruin the visit for me, but, I could see that sort of thing being problematic. Everything about the room was commendable....clean, fully ready for a guest, etc. The building is close to a major road with commercial traffic. Not much can be done about that. (Maybe some vegetation along the roadway to create a sound buffer?) Really, the only suggestion I'd make is to sound proof the rooms better...no good ideas on how to do that! (Sorry!) Location is perfect for my travels, so I'll be back. My family may not handle the noise as well, but, we'll see....

Room had no coffee available or anywhere. Bathroom fixtures were rusty and extended from wall. Bathroom walls were in bad shape. I was able to turn the TV on with the remote, but I couldn't turn it off so it was on all night. A terrible night sleep I would've been better off sleeping in my car. When I got up, the first thing I did was look out the window to make sure my car was still there, and if the tires are still on it. Oh, I can add photo of my stay.
