I checked in around 8:45, the staff was not knowledgeable about using Expedia to the point check in took 35 minutes and I at one point had to go behind the counter and look at a computer screen with the staff member and ultimately charged my card the stay of the hotel plus incidentals. I did receive the $100 back for incidentals but I paid double one time on Expedia the other at the hotel. The bathroom shower was not clean and had an excessive amount of hair on the soap dispenser as if someone shaved and left it all there. For the price of the hotel and what they stand for this was not a pleasant stay.

I realy wanted to like tge place especially after tge allyribg photos. Whe my daughte and I arrived tgere were no parkibg spaces. We ended up parking in an unlit spot for handicapped- which I have a handicap decal. Tgen our room was on the first floor and we had to walk about anotger half a mile. Then we were told the restaurant was closed- and thee were no apoontments for massages. MY POINT we went for all inclusive - spa, and restaurant on site. NOT HAPPY and doubt I will ever return.

Reminder to request room service

The areas of the hotel that we visited were well decorated and appeared clean. The grapefruit/orange infused water was a lovely touch in the lobby. Staff was welcoming at check in. Our room decor was updated and clean. However, the next day, after being out of the room all day though mid evening, we were looking forward to returning to a room with a made bed, fresh towels, and emptied trash. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When I called the front desk, I was informed that we needed to request that service. Had we been told this upon check-in or if there had been any literature in the room explaining this, we would have requested it. They did send someone from housekeeping, who was very nice, with fresh towels and she emptied the trash. I did mention how frustrating this situation was to the manager on duty upon checkout, suggesting that signage in the room and on the lobby counter would have been helpful. She said that we should have been told at check-in. We were not. If we decide to return, we will definitely be requesting room cleaning service at check-in.

Perfect Family Getaway at Princess Royale Hotel We've been coming to the Princess Royale Hotel for years, even before the renovation, and it just keeps getting better! The recently renovated rooms are spotless, modern, and super comfortable a huge upgrade that still feels homey. One of the best features, especially for families, is the indoor pool. It’s massive, kid-friendly (only 3 to 5 feet deep), and offers hours of fun no matter the weather. Right by the pool is a there is a cute little tiki bar that's perfect for grabbing a quick bite or drink without going far. Speaking of food the portions here are no joke! Everything we ordered was generous and totally worth the price. The main bar was also impressive big pours, great service, and a relaxing vibe. What we love most is the convenience. You’re just steps away from the beach and the pool, great restaurants, a local diner, grocery stores, and even a 7-Eleven for the quick stuff. Since it’s located in Upper Ocean City, it’s noticeably quieter and less hectic, which we really appreciate when traveling with kids. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, organized, and made for an easy, enjoyable stay. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about we’ll keep coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly spot in OCMD!

Enjoyed my stay only issue was there was construction at 8am lol I wasnt ready to get up yet. We enjoyed our stay for my son spring break!!!
