This properly is heavily marketed as “family friendly“. I would disagree with that. We traveled with an 11-year-old son. There are zero balls or any sort of pool toys allowed. There is really nothing on site for a kid to do other than some playground equipment. This is definitely more of a retirement, non-kid friendly resort. Although clean and comfortable. We had some significant check-in issues. We will not be returning.

I like that it was easy to get in and out of. It was clean and quiet. Even though I know it wasnt old or dated, my only issue was the colors in the room and hallway. It was a mustard yellow and lime green that made it appear old and daed like the 70s. I wish it would have been more bright beachy florida colors. Just my opinion as a tourist.

We have stayed here 2 times and both stays were excellent. The room layout is great for a family. The grounds and pools are immaculate. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly. The rooms are superbly clean and well stocked. Anything you could need for the room is in the cupboards and it feels more like having your own apartment while on vacation. Just the simple thought of having a clothes basket for the room is a nice touch. Even the balcony was very clean during pollen season. Check-out (leave room key in room) is very efficient. Check-in make take a while depending on crowds, but staff was working diligently to get people checked in. There is plenty of parking. We do not have a timeshare here and have only been asked once if we’d be interested in a timeshare. I politely declined and the employee said “Sure, no problem. Enjoy your stay.” There is a wonderful ice cream place next door, Twistee Treat. Area felt very safe and it is so convenient to Disney. We could get to Blizzard Beach and Disney Springs within 10 minutes and without getting in congested traffic. We plan on staying here again when we visit Disney.

We enjoyed our stay. However, for a $15 resort fee there should be little to no stress when it comes to parking. When we stayed out beyond 9pm it would take us almost 15 minutes to find parking. And the space was always far away from the building we stayed. They should consider running a shuttle from the parking garage. After shopping all day, walking with all of our bags were no fun!

Definitely a cleaner hotel than other ones I’ve stayed at and the staff is quick to deliver to you whatever you ask, we requested extra towels or extra bedding and it came fairly quickly and they were not stingy with the amount of towels. I would not want to stay here again if with how clean the rooms is. The location leaves a lot to be desired, it is down the road from an old abandoned hotel that is so run down, completely trashed, and graffitied, honestly worst abandoned property I’ve seen. The parking is also pretty scarce for the amount of rooms they have and it’s a far walk to the entrance of your building. The entrance to the 1 bedroom suites is also very weird. Not only do you insert the room card once, upon entering past the first door you enter a very small entrance way and are presented with 2 more doors labeled A and B. Then you enter your card again into whichever room is yours. It’s honestly tedious and it was quite frankly awkward when both you and your neighbor run into each other in the small entrance way, I’ve never seen this before and I hated it, especially being a female and entering with my toddler alone, I did not feel safe because I had no idea who our neighbor was and now we were stuck behind a locked door with them until I quickly opened our room. It wasn’t a terrible stay but I was not a fan of the area at all or the property itself, even the lobby felt more like you’re at the DMV than a nice hotel lobby.

1 star hotel, stay elsewhere in Kissimmee

This hotel was built in the 70’s and haven’t changed one thing in its rooms since. The staff is also rude. I arrived at 3am due to a delayed flight and was told they are not allowing late check outs because they are “too busy”. They have 20 properties and are the only place in the area with availability but somehow they can’t allow late checkout of an hour or two? Doesn’t make sense, but besides that the room was gross, old and smelly. Would never stay again and I advise you don’t either

The only real negatives were check-in is at 4pm which is about an hour later than avg hotels. We arrived for check-in at 7:30pm and was told our room was not ready yet. I was asked if I would still like to complete the check in process and wait for my room to become available for an hour or two. I declined and asked if they could please see if there were any available rooms for immediate check-in as it was well after the 4pm check in time. They were able to accommodate and a second check-in clerk expedited by printing and filling out all the paperwork while the other check-in clerk asked someone for assistance in finding a room. The rooms was spacious and clean. Parking was a little difficult especially later in the evening. The resort offers a ton of amenities to hotel guests and their residents.

Parking was atrocious and there was cracked tiles and the ceiling in room look like it was cracked all the way across in living room. Security was rude and wouldn't assist when parking was over flowed.

Great small apartment very close to Disney World

We have a very good stay at Vacation Village. It's a very confortable 1 bedroom, kitchen, dinning table, living room and balcony apartment. Located just1 light from I-4, getting to and comming from Disney World is a very short distance and a bless when returning tired from the parks. Cons: 1) there where very loud noises coming from the street late night ( 9pm to 11pm aprox) 2) 20 min from Universal Studios
