This hotel was a great find in downtown Ottawa. The location is a 10-15 minute walk to the Byward Market but the reasonable price more than makes up for this minor inconvenience. I'm not sure how old the property is but it is like new and spotlessly clean. The rooms are large, modern and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and the reasonably-priced underground parking provides a safe (and warm) place to keep your car. My only suggestions would be to add a door mat in the rooms to keep the water and salt from boots off the ceramic floor at the entrance to the rooms and to add a recycling bin to each room. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay and this is now my go-to hotel when visiting Ottawa.

No parking right downtown Ottawa makes it very difficult. The hotel is also right next door to the Ottawa shelter so it can be a dangerous as Rea for children and teams

Great hotel and staff

The front desk staff were fantastic, our hockey team was delayed and the staff made sure the girls didn’t miss breakfast and gave them a late check out. Great hotel with amazing staffz

The internal parking is very handy. Good breakfast with juices, bread, fruits, waffles, sausage, egg, all fresh. Well maintained building. Well located but be aware of the nearby shelter. I stopped at the red light and had the vehicle surrounded by people asking for money.
