One of our go-to hotels in Ottawa for Winterlude. Kids loved it, especially the pool and hot tub. The only issues were pretty minor. Hot tub has a max capacity of 2, which sucks when you're a family of 4. And the hotel restaurant is a little pricey for what you get, but thats pretty standard for hotels of this level and general cost of food these days it seems.

The hotel is conveniently located near amenities, but the staff was not welcoming. After we checked in, no one even directed us to the elevators. The only exception was the wonderful housekeeping lady who cleaned our room—her warm smile truly brightened our day. The front desk staff and parking attendants could certainly learn from her hospitality. Additionally, we were scheduled to check out at noon, yet at 9:45 AM, someone attempted to enter our room without knocking. Thankfully, we had the bolt secured, ensuring our privacy. Unfortunately, due to these experiences, I will be choosing a different hotel for my next visit to Ottawa.
