I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming, very friendly and fun and the location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. My room was spacious and the amenities were exactly what I needed.The only downside was the housekeeping. The room wasn’t refreshed as consistently as expected, and a few details were overlooked during my stay. I am expected to leave the room earlier than 9:30 am for the room to be organized. Three days out of five the room was not touched at all. It wasn’t enough to ruin the experience, but it’s an area that could use some improvement. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning, especially if the housekeeping standards are brought up to match the rest of the hotel’s excellent service.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, which we were never informed of either when we made the reservation or when we arrived at the hotel. I paid to sleep with construction noise, and the pool was so saturated with chlorine or chemicals that my children and I had burning, red skin, as if we had been in the sun for hours. It was not a pleasant experience to spend my vacation there with my children.

There was a jackhammer (or something similar) working intermittently in the hotel for 8 hours from 9-5 each day. The management were unwilling to acknowledge that this was a problem and continued to fight against a refund after hotels.com got involved.

Despite efforts from front desk to remedy the situation, the hotel was awfully dirty. We had to change rooms twice with the third room still not properly clean. Footprints in the hotel shower.... Unclean surfaces. I would not stay at this Marriott. The stay was less than desirable and I wish I could have cancelled my stay all together.
