Entry code may not work

The house was nicely appointed, better than expected. Pool & backyard was sweet, spent a while there. Now, entering the house was a different matter. After we arrived from a long drive, we did not expect to do battle with the front door lock nor search the perimeter of the house just to figure out how to get in. Our door code did not work. Texted with an AvantStay contact as they walked us thru entering codes while pulling know towards us and listening for clicks. Spent a long time trying to get in only to be given a different key code that eventually worked. We thought the access issue was behind us & can begin our sweet weekend getaway. Stepped out the next day and returned to experience the same issue. Back and forth delayed texts with the AvantStay as they talked us through dealing with the front door lock once again. Eventually, we were able to get in but felt uncertain of being able to be let in next time we step out of the house. Expressed this to AvantStay contact and they gave us a 3rd code to a physical key stored in a lock box. Wow, after all that time spent. After reading reviews of issues with access and check-in I think I understand what they went thru. Just surprised they haven't fixed this issue. So heads up.. a warning, you may have to deal with this too.
