The Bear River House is a century old farm house that has been completely renovated in 2022. The Bear River House is divided into two sides: The Main House and The Honey Suite. Both are separate and private, or for larger groups, both sides can be booked. This is The Main House. It is just south of Downtown Petoskey near Shopping, Restaurants, the Casino, Petoskey Snowmobile Club, North Country Trail, Petoskey Youth Soccer Association, River Road Sports Complex, Bear River Canoe Livery, Skiing, North Central Michigan College,. The Bear House

The old farmhouse has been renovated with a cute bear theme. It’s location is convenient for trips to the beaches, trails and nice local towns. The only downside was the ventilation, with no A/C. Otherwise, nice dining area with games for families indoors and out, nice open kitchen and laundry room.

There is no a.c units of any kind in this house. The temperature reached up to 98 degress with only 2 old box fans to keep the whole house cool. This house is not worth the money they are charging unless its in the winter time.
