Not what I was expecting

Pros: The pool area.
Cons: Assistance with luggage on arrival. Provision of more than 2 coffee sachets a day would be nice!
Location: Location was near the main street and beach, but access to the hotel is only gained via two alley ways with stallholders on each side.
On arrival I didn't expect to have to lug my bags up the stairs to reception - there was no porter or bellboy to assist with luggage. Not an easy task for anyone, let alone someone who has mobility issues. I had booked a superior poolside room, but there was nothing superior about it - very, very basic, and the beds are extremely hard, which you do get used to after a while. Don't waste your time trying the breakfasts. Again, very basic with very little choice. The only shining light for this 'resort' is the pool, which was lovely and clean and had ample sunbeds, with shade if required. It did have a swim-up bar, which unfortunately nobody used for the week I was there. I felt a little sorry for the staff who were manning it all day. The proximity to the main street and beach was a plus, although having to walk through an alley of stalls to enter and exit the premises wasn't ideal.

Cheap hotel, with room for improvement.

Good position, close to the beach. Nice big pool, although shallow. The reception staff were quite inflexible. The bed can be very hard, depending on what room you get. Had to move rooms twice, just to be able to sleep. Overall, not bad for the price.

Great location & pool, rooms need upgrading!

Hotel is in fantastic location, close to beach and restaurants. Main pool area is really nice, lots of trees and umbrellas available. I stayed in a premier room. Only difference between premier and pool access (I viewed both) is the pool access rooms have nice big windows so room is nice and light. Downside of premier rooms is that unless you have your curtain wide open (no privacy from other guests walking past) there is no other natural light. Overall very pleased with hotel apart from dark room, however figured as I only slept in there at night, $30 per night was an excellent bargain. Can't plug USB or hard drive into the TV. No need for an indoor and outdoor shower..would have preferred a bath tub or another window to let in light. Would definitely stay here again, however would highly recommend the rooms get an upgrade/ renovation- this would make for such a better stay. Only other real negative, we arrived around 11am, check in isn't until 2pm. We travelled in low season and the hotel was not full! Staff refused to let us check in before 2pm, despite the fact that the room was empty and already cleaned (we hung around the pool until 2pm waiting to check in- no one came in or out of the room). Flexibility would have been great in this instance.

Nice quiet location

Nice quiet location , only a short stroll to the beach and shops . The rooms we stayed in were clean , and had most bits that you need , just bed was a bit hard .Staff were quiet good and helped arrange transfers.

Pros: Pool access. location, quiet, friendly staff..
Cons: Needs update getting a little tired.. Suit makers at front get a little pushy having to say no all the time..
