Great location and concierge service

We loved this location. So close to the ocean and so many restaurants. We loved every interaction we had with the concierge service. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Great PH apartment at the best location in Playa

My wife and I reserved this property a year ago for a five week stay. Unfortunately, she was killed in an accident 3 months before we were to leave. I decided to come by myself to grieve and to heal. I’m glad I did. Location and cleanliness was top notch, as was the service by the property manager, Sophia. I have already made plans to return next winter for an extended stay. That being said, the building and the apartment is about 25 years old, and is showing signs of wear. A few cosmetic repairs would make a big difference in how this property looks to renters. Fortunately, this didn’t bother me much.

MOLD listing photos do not accurately represent the condition of this property!

WHAT WE DID NOT LIKE Mold was present in the master bath sink area, near shower entrance, around 2 of the air conditioning ducts and on the rooftop cushions. The private PH pool & sitting area was poorly maintained. Patio screen was torn, stains on fabric furniture and coffee tables and poorly repaired patches on ceiling. Laundry is NOT INCLUDED, it’s in the garage and $10 per load. The photos in the listing were not a true depiction of the current condition. Private pool is completely different. Uploading our photos in a review is not an offered feature. WHAT WE LIKED The location, just off of 38th and 5th Ave, less than a minute walk from the front door to the ocean. The lobby area was clean and well maintained. Check in process was quick and easy. The roof top common area has a beautiful spacious infinity pool that overlooks the ocean along with plenty of comfortable sun chairs and umbrellas for shade. Inside our rental unit we liked the master bedroom mattress, the refrigerator, 2 large TVs and free Wi-Fi. The appliances were in working order including the air conditioning! Sophie our concierge was extremely attentive. OWNER RESPONSE The owner responded quickly but was unable to move us. Free laundry, dinner or a cleaning would not properly remove the mold during our stay or address the misleading photos of the private pool area. We do not recommend this unit and would never stay here again

False advertising….and unhealthy conditions

There is not enough room here to describe the extent of our disappointment. There isn’t a zero star option as that’s what it deserves. Firstly, it may be unhealthy to stay here. There is mold on the ceilings of both bedrooms and the living area. We have photos to prove it. The entire place is dirty from the lobby but in particular the unit itself. The walls look like someone intentionally scuffed them, the bathrooms were unclean and the soap dishes were scummy. Air conditioning was not functioning and the person who came to fix it never returned. The cushions in the pool area were moldy. The owner - who’s responses were completely unsatisfactory- claims this is all a result of the property being near the beach. It’s difficult to imagine a cleaning couldn’t solve most of these issues. DO NOT STAY HERE! I will be providing photographic evidence to the vendor to challenge for a refund. Completely unacceptable. We left and booked another location as we felt the conditions were unhealthy.

Amazing beach penthouse, great location!

Amazing experience! Great location, just a block away from 5th avenue and a small walk to the beach. Wonderful host and a very helpful personal concierge. The place was beautiful and our favorite part was the private roof top with pool that had the most beautiful view that we enjoyed every single day at our stay. We definitely recommend this place and for sure will come back!
