The cooking facilites were poor. Also have stayed places where they provide a coffee machine, this wasn't the case. Knives for cooking were terrible, couldn't cut bread and sharperners on the knives obviously were not working. The breakfast options at Mezze were sub standard. You'd think a place like Peppers would have food service or even a buffet option but having to collect breakfast meals ftom the pass is well below the service I would have expected. Also had dinner at Mezze for Christmas Eve, the food was excellent. The service staff were inexperienced and the lack of accomodating some changes on the menu was ridiculous, considering that by 8pm we were the only people left. I also believe that regatdless if you are busy or not on that night that a meal includes coffee. The machine was turned off early and we were not able to get a coffee at the completion of our meal at about 9.30. Really poor form.

There were dirty glasses in the cupboard and a few other things but overall the place was clean. Our unit was a bit low lying and near a through road for residents but I woke to hear a few trucks in the early morning. I would request a different unit next time. The proximity and choice of restaurants within the resort was handy and makes us consider staying again. Rooms are laid out very well. Having two bathrooms is ensuites is great!

The one and only issue was the pool needs to be heated. It would then get more use. The spa seemed to be the same temperature as the pool not sure if this is meant to be the case?

We had such a great stay at Peppers Apartments in The Vintage. The place was spotlessly clean, really well furnished, and felt so comfortable from the moment we arrived. The bathroom was huge with both a bathtub and separate shower, which was a real treat. The amenities were awesome too — we enjoyed a few games of tennis, and there were two pools to choose from for relaxing swims. My son & I had a ball scooting around the complex, which felt safe and family-friendly. All up, a perfect mix of comfort and fun — we’d definitely come back!

Very spacious house with three bedrooms. We had a great time there with friends, cooking and doing BBQ. We just hoped there was more cookware. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay in Hunter Valley.

Great modern property and location was the best we have experienced in the Hunter to date. Would have been 5 starts all round, except upon arrival we had a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms (which happens), and the smell was horrible. The issue for me was, there was no urgency for the staff to fix it and it took too long for someone to come out. It should have been and absolute priority when a guest is paying for a 3 bedroom house and 1 bedroom bathroom stinks! This part was upsetting, no apology either. (Not like I was asking for a partial refund, which I could have). I even went to the shops to buy drainage products at my own cost to try fix it and prevent the rest of the house smelling and ruining the holiday for my family. Luckily, no one was staying in that room for the first 2 nights, but it’s not the point. Besides that part being a bad experience, everything else was amazing.. house was mint, spacious, modern and gorgeous views onto the golf course. So handy having everything walking distance, as far as the nineteen pub and tab. Only a 5min drive to all that Hunter has to offer. Do recommend and will book again (but will again buy and bring draino clean incase the stain stinks again).

Check-in was delayed, with no form of recompense offered, but otherwise the property itself was lovely. Clean, spacious, pretty surroundings and access to 2 pools, which was much valued in the hot weather. We would return again.
