I expected to have a restful night after a day of hard work. Since arrival I had problems: the key didn’t open the room door; had to change room because of the the smoke detector noise (battery hadn’t been changed before arrival); no hot water for bathing; wet floors all over; no security or guards; the a/c of the new room assigned was defective making noise all night; dirty room and wet floor rug; hotel did not comply with the size of the bed requested. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The building is one of the oldest hotel it is a beautiful hotel Some rooms are newer. My gf had a newer room very well decorated and modern on the first floor and I was on the third floor and had balcony to the street view but no dark out drapes and in the mornings it was loud. My room was older set up like a motel stay shower tub was clean but oxidized. Very basic room. They have a bar but never ever open we were there 5 days. It is in the middle of everything very convenient and walkable

La limpieza estuvo buena. Los empleados muy amables. El área del lobby (primer piso) es hermosa. Deberían prepararla para un piano bar o cualquier otra actividad que el huésped permanezca en el hotel y no tenga que salir a comprar algún snack o alguna bebida. La habitación tenía tabla de planchar pero no plancha, el secador de cabello un desastre (se cayó en pedazos). Tiene agua caliente.

I stayed there because I had a medical procedure at San Lucas Hospital. I didn’t have time to walk around. The staff was excellent and responded to our needs immediately.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Although they are trying to preserve the architectural style. The building needs more maintenance, specifically the bathrooms. The front desk does not maintain a master key to open the rooms in case of an emergency. They had to break my locks to access my room and change it the next day. I was asked to leave my room open the entire day. Incredible. Just not acceptable. They must have security standards for emergencies situations. No good hotel. Go to another place.

Hotel stay was very good. Original room was changed due to the room # 125 not locking from the inside and had to be changed to another room # 121.. The Agent checked the door and gave us another room. She was very accommodating and we appreciated the service.
