Le Cher Du Monde was a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Port Douglas, the hosts Robert , Lyn and can’t forget their dog Ellie were great , nothing was any trouble and they also booked us a couple of tours.. would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Port Douglas

The accommodation was lovely, the bed was super comfortable and the little balcony overlooking the pool was a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The owners were also fantastic. So helpful and friendly. Will stay again if we come back up this way.

Centrally located to shops and restaurants. If you do not like stairs, ask for a ground floor room.

Hi Tony, Our check out time is strictly 10AM unless a late check out was authorised by management. There was no such authorisation in this instance. There is always a knock, but perhaps that wasn't heard? We had relief managers in at the time & they were just doing their job. It was an exceptionally busy period as just after New Year always is & our cleaners need to be able to get on with things. Regards, Lyn & Robert
