As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who were able to accommodate our early arrival. There is coffee and hot water available at the lobby which was a wonderful treat. Our room was clean, our housekeeper was kind. The hotel is in a quiet area, we didn’t see any transients in the surrounding blocks. It was a short walk to the Powell bookstore and nearby shops. The breakfast was great, a good variety.

5 Stars I had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Portland-Pearl District! The valet parking was extremely convenient, and the $48 per night fee was well worth it, especially with my Tesla being fully charged each night. The property was spotless, and I felt very safe throughout my stay. The front desk staff were exceptional—super friendly, professional, and attentive to every need. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portland!

The location is fantastic and it is very easy to park, however don't park under a tree, as the crows will poop all over your car. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that the heating system in the room is very loud

This is a perfectly decent hotel. Comfortable, clean, quiet, good free breakfast. It seems to be right on the border between the affluent part of downtown and the skid row part of town. In one direction there are cool brewpubs and bookstores, and the other direction are people sleeping on the street. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Amtrak station which was convenient, since that's how I got to Portland. This hotel was very nice. I'd stay again.
