Mark Spencer is amazing

Super cute old hotel right in the heart of the city. Walking distant to all the things we came to see. Room was nicely air conditioned and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great location and affordable. Free wine and cheese on the roof was very nice.

Nice hotel

Old traditional hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient as it’s just a block away from the big book store. Parking gets a little tricky as they would run out of spots for visitors.

Hotel was nice however we did not receive a room cleaning during our 3 night/4 day stay. Instead they gave us bedding and towels and we were told to make our own bed. Breakfast was also not available during the weekend. Rooms were musty . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable

Lots of homeless in the area, walked back to hotel after an event and felt safe that there was a lot of people around but if it was any other night i don’t think i would have felt completely safe. Hotel was great, bed was comfy the hotel did have a weird smell which i think may have been from the A/C. Staff was very friendly, and super helpful

Old and uncomfortable bed

Check in and check out was easy. The room was spacious, but it smelled musty. Beds were sunken and really uncomfortable, made out back hurt.

LOVE THE OLDEST HOTEL IN PORTLAND!

This was a last minute reservation, we were lucky to get the last room. My friend and i came to see the Rose and Japanese Garden. Tim was very helpful at check in and Anthony was wonderful helping us with parking and luggage. Beautiful hotel and the best bed and linen I've had in a long time! Beekman 1802 products were appreciated. Great recs for Indian food for dinner (East India up the street) and Cheryl's for breakfast around the corner. We'll definitely stay here again when my husband and i come back.
